I'm a local Ethnomusicologist, American Primitive fast-fingerpicking guitarist, and World Music enthusiast. I play classical guitar and some exotic stringed instruments from: Cuba, Senegal, Thailand, Turkey, India, China, Peru, Indonesia, etc. When possible, I flavor my set with photography, videos, and stories of my travels. A little about me... My degree is in "Music As A Cultural Metaphor," which has allowed me to explore the globe with purpose; collecting instruments, field recordings, and gems of wit and wisdom.
